Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse

Labroides dimidiatus
About the species

A slender little wrasse with a black stripe along a pale blue body, the reef's dedicated cleaner. At fixed 'cleaning stations' it picks parasites and dead skin from far larger fish, which queue and hold still for service. It even enters the mouths of groupers and morays unharmed.
