About this site

The Caves, at the southern end of Dahab, is a series of coral overhangs and shallow caverns set in a colourful reef wall and lagoon. Divers explore the small chambers and swim-throughs hung with glassfish, while groupers and morays shelter in the recesses. Despite its evocative name the overhangs are shallow and accessible, though the deeper southern reef has historically caught out underprepared divers.
