A sloping fringing reef off Gubal Island, dropping from a shallow plateau to a sandy floor around 20 m and typically dived as a zodiac drop-off in about 15 m. Coral outcrops and table corals dot the slope, with jacks over the reef and turtles and passing dolphins reported.
