A dive along the reef of Sha'ab Mahmoud that threads through northern and southern channels ('cracks') between the lagoon and open water. A sandy plateau around 18-22 m holds a garden-eel colony, with red anemones, morays, gorgonians and acropora on the reef and turtles and Napoleon wrasse passing through.
