Small Giftun's southern plateau is studded with more than forty coral pinnacles (ergs) rising from a sandy bottom at 10-15 m, forming a maze of swim-throughs and overhangs. The reef is alive with glassfish, anthias, groupers and the occasional turtle, making it ideal for relaxed multilevel diving. Sheltered conditions and gentle profiles also suit training and easy fun dives.
