A large surgeonfish relative bearing a blunt horn projecting from its forehead and two bright blue keeled blades on each side of the tail. Grey-green and powerful, it grazes leafy algae and cruises reef slopes in groups. The 'unicorn' horn grows with age and gives the fish its name.
