A slightly smaller, more slender bottlenose with a longer beak and often spotted belly in adults. Common in shallow coastal and reef habitats of the Egyptian Red Sea, including Shaab El Erg and Hurghada reefs. Frequently mixes with spinner dolphins and approaches snorkel boats.
