About this site

The first major wall inside Ras Mohammed bay, Ras Za'atar drops vertically from the surface and is richly decorated with soft corals, large gorgonians and a series of cracks and small caves. The vertical relief makes it a superb wall dive with frequent turtle sightings and good chances of tuna and barracuda cruising the blue. Sheltered conditions make it a reliable alternative when offshore sites are exposed.
