Nicknamed The Aquarium for its extraordinary fish density, Gota Abu Ramada is an oval coral block rising from a sandy seabed at around 12-16 m, flanked by two ergs to the west and pinnacles and coral garden to the east. Clouds of glassfish, anthias, goatfish, sweetlips and snappers swarm the shallow coral heads in calm, easy conditions. Its sheltered, shallow profile makes it a top choice for relaxed diving, photography and training.
