About this site

Marsa Egla is a gentle bay just north of Marsa Alam town with a sandy bottom and a coral garden running along its southern reef arm. It is a popular check-dive and training site, rich in reef fish, octopus and the occasional turtle, with seahorses found in the seagrass. The calm, shallow profile suits beginners and relaxed multi-level dives.
