A small, dazzling stingray with electric-blue spots scattered over a yellow-brown oval disc and bright blue stripes along its ribbon-like tail. It shelters under coral ledges and table corals by day, emerging to hunt molluscs and crustaceans in the sand. One of the most photographed rays of the Red Sea.
