Ras Abu Helal is a headland reef north of Dahab town, featuring a sandy lagoon entry that opens onto coral pinnacles and a sloping wall. The site is rich in soft coral and home to glassfish-filled overhangs, morays and the occasional turtle grazing the seagrass. Its varied terrain and moderate depth suit both relaxed dives and a touch of exploration.
