About 15 km south of Taba town, the Fjord is a dramatic enclosed bay flanked by towering desert cliffs, with a sandy lagoon giving way to fringing coral reef. Following the coral bed out from around 16 m, divers reach the celebrated 'Fjord Hole', a depression dropping to roughly 24 m and alive with glassfish, silversides and colourful reef life. The scenic topside backdrop and calm, protected water make it one of the most photogenic spots in the far north.
