About this site

Abu Dabbab is a sandy, shallow bay backed by seagrass meadows, renowned as one of the best places in the Red Sea to encounter dugongs and large green turtles grazing in the open. The easy shore-accessible reef on both arms of the bay shelters guitar sharks, stingrays and snake eels in the sand. Its gentle conditions make it ideal for beginners, training and long, relaxed dives.
