About this site

Ras Abu Soma is the northern headland of Soma Bay, reachable in about ten minutes from the jetty, where a coral slope drops gently toward deeper water. Shoals of redtooth triggerfish swirl overhead while giant morays, transparent cleaner shrimp and juvenile hogfish work the reef. The easy access and pleasant conditions make it a favourite check and training dive.
