About this site

Ras Shaitan, meaning 'Devil's Head', is the signature dive of the Nuweiba coast, sitting beside a string of Bedouin camps north of town. A short surface swim from shore drops into a dramatic submerged landscape of pinnacles, swim-throughs, canyons and small caves smothered in hard coral. Octopus, moon groupers, pufferfish and anemones populate the structure, and the topography rewards confident divers with good orientation.
