About this site

Sha'ab Sataya is a vast horseshoe-shaped reef enclosing a sheltered turquoise lagoon at the southern edge of Fury Shoals, famous as the 'Dolphin House' of Hamata for its resident pod of spinner dolphins. The outer walls plunge into steep drop-offs draped in soft and hard corals, while protected pinnacles and a sandy lagoon offer easy snorkelling and diving alike. Pelagic encounters and large schools of fish are common along the exposed reef edges.
