A dramatic vertical shaft in the reef
Named for the towering reef pillar separated from the main wall by a deep crack, this Sharm coastal site features a near-vertical wall dropping past 60 m with a photogenic chimney and overhangs covered in soft corals. The shallow plateau is ideal for the safety stop among reef fish, while the deep wall hosts gorgonians, lionfish and the occasional pelagic. Accessible from shore or boat.
