About this site

The southern plateau is a gently sloping coral garden of hard corals and gorgonians that extends into the open sea and acts as a magnet for pelagics. Grey reef sharks, schooling barracuda, tuna and large Napoleon wrasse are common, and the area sees frequent oceanic whitetip sharks in autumn. It is generally more sheltered than the north but still exposed to current.
