About this site

Habili Gaffar (also spelled Jaffar) is a submerged pinnacle at the heart of St John's, rising from over 100 m to within a few metres of the surface with a ledge around 70 m. Its current-swept slopes are smothered in soft corals and gorgonians, attracting grey reef sharks, tuna, snappers and the occasional pelagic shark. Visibility is usually superb, making it a favourite blue-water dive.
