About this site

The northernmost and most famous of the four Straits of Tiran reefs, Jackson is marked by the rusting wreck of the Lara cargo ship on its reef top. Strong currents on the exposed northern side draw schooling hammerheads in summer along with grey reef sharks, while the sheltered south offers stunning coral gardens and pinnacles. It is a classic drift dive in one of the Red Sea's most current-swept channels.
