About this site

The Kimon M, the Lentil Wreck, is a German cargo ship that ran onto Abu Nuhas in 1978 carrying lentils, lying on its starboard side with the bows broken away and the stern intact from about 16 to 32 metres. The large rudder, propeller and engine room are the draw, slowly being claimed by hard corals. Its greater depth and exposure make it the most advanced of the Abu Nuhas quartet.
