About this site

This small island, crowned by the restored Crusader and Saladin-era fortress of Jazirat Fir'aun, sits a few hundred metres off the Taba coast and is encircled by healthy fringing reef. Dive sites around the island include Picasso Reef, an underwater pinnacle dropping to about 24 m and ending in a sweeping coiled reef, plus shallow coral gardens ideal for multi-level diving. The combination of dramatic topside history and vibrant coral makes it the signature destination of the Taba area.
