About this site

Umm Sid (Um Sid) is a sloping reef and wall at the southern edge of Dahab, dropping from a shallow plateau into deeper water rich with coral heads. The site is known for its dense fish life, including snapper, fusilier and the occasional reef shark or eagle ray cruising the deeper slope. Its gentle entry and varied depth make it suitable for a wide range of divers.
